Ryan got a new calling (new position) at church today. He will serve in the leadership of a congregation of single adults ages 18-31 yrs old here in Manhattan (Manhattan 8th Ward). Amazingly, but not so serendipitously, his father, being in town, was able to ordain him to the office of High Priest and was present when Stake President Buckner (leader over a larger group of congregations in the NY area) set him apart as the first counselor. That was really special and I could tell both Ryan and Larry were touched.
Ryan will serve with Bishop Adam Wilcox and Cliff Blair, both of whom we know, love and respect from our time in our previous congregation here (Morningside Heights Ward). I know all three of them are looking forward to working with such a great group and to doing all they can to make it a wonderful and spiritual place to be.

Wow! I didn't even know that about Cliff Blair and Adam Wilcox. Sounds like a perfect group of guys. We've missed you at musikgarten class the last couple weeks and hope Brandon is feeling better.
